George W. Bush is a poor excuse for a human being, a poor president, a poor commander-in-chief, a poor example in general and now we find out he's cash poor as well. He takes responsibility for nothing. He never reads a newspaper or a book. He's an ego maniacal buffoon. He's an arrogant and reckless simpleton. He's an acknowledged abuser of alcohol. He's a delusional and pathological liar. But hold on for just a second, I could continue writing about Bush's plethora of character flaws for days on end, but first, allow me to write about today's catalyst for all the above.
In a recent interview conducted by the , author Robert Draper spoke at length about his soon to be released biographical account of George W. Bush, titled, DEAD CERTAIN. Some of the more interesting/disgusting revelations in this book discuss some of Bush's plans once he leaves office. Bush inexplicably cooperated completely with the author, thus providing the very self-damning pronouncements contained in Dead Certain.
Straight from the Times articled published in Sunday's edition, Bush freely announced that “I’ll give some speeches, just to replenish the ol’ coffers.” With assets that have been estimated as high as nearly $21 million, Mr. Bush added, “I don’t know what my dad gets — it’s more than 50-75” thousand dollars a speech, and “Clinton’s making a lot of money.” Then he went on to further state “We’ll have a nice place in Dallas,” where he will be running what he called “a fantastic Freedom Institute” promoting democracy around the world. But he added, “I can just envision getting in the car, getting bored, going down to the ranch.” The scholarly Bush apparently can dedicate only so much time to making obscene amounts of money, reading ghost written, simplistic and monosyllabic speeches and overseeing his own fantastic institute of freedom. Then it will be time to return to the ranch to intellectually challenge himself, by clearing some of that pesky brush.
Bush's initial revelation of making some easy speech money as soldiers are dying daily in "his war" was bad enough, but what he went on to state afterwards is, quite simply, grounds for impeachment. Bush told the author, Robert Draper, in a later session, “I’m playing for October-November” (of 2008). That is when he hopes the Iraq troop increase will finally show enough results to help him achieve the central goal of his remaining time in office: “To get us in a position where the presidential candidates will be comfortable about sustaining a presence,” and, he said later, “stay longer.” Read this last passage again. This despicable liar has no intention of reducing troops as he told those very troops to their faces in Iraq on Labor Day. He was doing what he does best. He was lying. These troops aren't going anywhere as long as Bush is president. Bush's priorities are keeping the troops in Iraq and getting puppet commanders like General David H. Petraeus, to support his lies and pave the way for a like-minded republican to succeed him in the White House.
Bush suffers from the exact same syndrome every self-delusional, evil human being of limited intelligence does. He NEVER admits he's wrong. Nothing is his fault. He is always right. It's his underlings that are ultimately responsible for all his many failures. He has the innate ability to look people in the eye and swear an oath of truth, while he simultaneously lies through his teeth. He did just that with our physically and mentally drained troops on Monday. He, in essence, promised dehydrated soldiers a 100,000 gallons of fresh ice water and then let it drain into the sand before they could even get a sip.
Many Americans join me in wondering how much lower Bush can sink. He's already sunk lower than the hole he cowardly crawled into immediately after 9/11. On Monday, Bush used our troops as a background, mere scenery for him to paint and frame his lies. Isn't it time for Americans who genuinely care about truth, justice and freedom to arm themselves with our own paint brushes and paint the following over Bush......
