IRAQ 3 VIETNAM 0 - Legacy of a Coward!!

Our fearless leader, our chicken-in-chief and our gutless drunk punk, has once again slithered into Iraq under a cloak of secrecy and security to survey the situation for himself. Air Force One landed on Labor Day at Al Asad Air Base at 3:43 p.m. (7:43 a.m. EDT) The White House claims the base was chosen because of the "remarkable turnaround" in the mostly Sunni region west of Baghdad. In other words, it was the safest possible landing spot for a man whose courage and integrity can easily fit onto the head of a pin. Bush plans to dine with carefully vetted U.S. troops and then meet with his puppet-like military commanders, the U.S. ambassador, Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and provincial tribal leaders. Tribal leaders? Is this a democratic country or an episode of Survivor?

This visit marks the third time, Chicken George has made a surprise visit to prime vacation destination Iraq, since "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" became part of our lexicon back in 2003 (ironically, three more trips than he ever made to Vietnam). But this trip will remain confined to the heavily fortified air base west of Baghdad for about six hours. "The president will speak to about 750 troops for about ten to fifteen minutes" said White House spokeswoman Dana Perino, before he continues on to Australia. Wow, clearly this should be the most significant moment in these soldiers' lives. Ten minutes with the man that made their third tour to Iraq even possible will be a moment they'll take with them to their graves. Sadly, some of those funerals will be happening sooner than later. If there's any justice in this situation, tonight's entrée should be CHICKEN!

Clearly, our despicable president has positively no shame or conscience. He not only was willing to send more than a hundred thousand American GI's into Iraq for fictitious reasons, but he then mercilessly uses them as tools of propaganda in his never ending quest to clearly demonstrate what an immoral, unethical, cowardly fraud of a person he truly is. The cost in monies alone for this war will soon exceed $500 Billion. Much worse than that, however, will be the human costs of nearly 4,000 soldiers killed and nearly 30,000 wounded. Many of those wounded will be permanently physically and/or mentally incapacitated. Nothing positive has ever been, nor will ever be accomplished by this horrific war. The only mission that was accomplished, was the delusional plans of a cabal of weak, cowardly, shortsighted men with inadequacies that far surpassed their vision or courage.

Congratulations Mr. President. Your photo op will be lauded by your stooges and sycophants as another smashing success. A ton of video tape, film and commentary will fill our television sets on a notoriously non-news Labor Day. But after all, wasn't that the entire point of this entire self-aggrandizing display of gutless diplomacy at its core? Much like dictators of the distant and recent past, Bush and his image shapers are nothing more than the definition of a facade. What you see is what you DON'T get. This dictatorial regime wants you to see a visionary, courageous leader willing to risk his life for a worthy and noble cause that he deeply believes in. But I'm positive history will be much more objective. I feel certain it will show a not very bright, unaccomplished, cowardly little man who will forever be viewed as a failure. A failed president, a failed leader and worst of all, a failed human being.

Yes, George W. Bush's legacy will be that of a COWARD. I think for dinner tonight, every American who's not risking their life, should take a moment to thank everyone in Afghanistan and Iraq who is. Be thankful you're spending this day at your home with family and friends, instead of spending ten minutes in a far off desert, with a coward who has prevented more than 100,000 of your fellow citizens from doing the same with their family and friends......
